Courses and private lessons in mixing, sound design, arrangement, and composition. Built in the studio, proven on festival systems from Boom to Rainbow Serpent, and taught by Jossie Telch the way it was learned.

Bachelor's degree in Music Synthesis from Berklee College of Music, and 18 years releasing music since. Jossie built and ran a commercial studio in Mexico City scoring work for Cadbury, Nike, and Canal 11 before turning fully to electronic music. Since 2008 that work has charted multiple times on Beatport, released across labels worldwide with Digital Structures and Ibogatech as home base, and toured festival stages on five continents, from Boom and Ozora to Universo Paralello and Rainbow Serpent.
For years that same knowledge has been passed on in private, one hour at a time. It still is, in 1:1 sessions open to any level, and the courses are being built to bring the same framework to everyone, starting with mixing.
This is the first deep-dive in the library: everything I know about turning a rough mix into a professional, dancefloor-ready sound. Not basics-to-finished-track. It's for producers who already make music and want their mixdowns to finally sit right. Released module by module as each one is finished.
Signal flow, headroom, and operating level. Full DAW walkthrough.
EQ, reverb, delay, and modulation as production decisions rather than repairs. Where each belongs in the chain, and why.
VCA, FET, Opto, and Vari-Mu, their character and behaviour. Serial and parallel compression in context.
A five-layer framework from arrangement to dynamic EQ.
Bottom-up mixing approach, explained and demonstrated from channel to master bus.
Phase discipline, the 3-step routine, and the collapse cheat sheet.
Module 1 is finished and almost live. Pricing goes up the moment it launches. From there, the course sells at an early-access discount that gets smaller with every new module, until all six are out and it reaches full price. The earlier you join, the more you save. Join the list now and you'll get the best price still available.
Each course takes one craft and goes all the way in: mixing first, sound design next, and more to follow. Self-paced, built to keep, released one at a time as each is finished. The private sessions are the other side of that. Not one craft, but all of it, everything I'd teach across every course, worked out live on your own track. Available now, while the library gets built.
Private 1:1 lessons. Single (1 session) or Block (4 sessions).
Mixing, the first course. Module 1 almost live. Early-access pricing at launch.
Sound design, then more, one craft at a time.
Start with me directly today. The deep-dives arrive one craft at a time.
One-to-one, on your own music. Everything I'd teach across every course, mixing, sound design, arrangement, the lot, applied live to the tracks in front of you. This is the only place you get all of it, specific to your sound. Available now.
Open to every level. Unlike the course, which assumes you already make music, sessions start wherever you are. First track or fifteenth, we work from there. All sessions run over Zoom, wherever you are in the world. All DAWs welcome — if you're comfortable in yours, the concepts and plugins carry over.
Targeted work on one track or one technique. Ideal when something specific is holding a mix back, you need track feedback, or there is a method you want to learn properly.
Book a single sessionWeekly over one month, or every other week over two. Dedicated time across several areas of your production, for when you want to genuinely refine your sound rather than patch a single problem.
Book a block of fourNeed to move a session? Any time up to 24 hours before and we’ll reschedule. Inside 24 hours the session counts as taken.
Choose a time once and all four sessions are booked at that slot.
The second deep-dive. Same approach: one craft, all the way in. Join the list to hear first.
“Working with Jossie was truly transformational. I came in with a solid musical background, having studied music from a young age and later sound engineering. But it was the finer details, the ones crucial to producing professional quality tracks, that the mentorship really unlocked. Those insights completely changed the way I approach production. Since then I've released with several of the most prominent downtempo labels, including MoNADA, .down, Baikal Nomads, KataHaifish and Kosa, and had 10 tracks chart in the Beatport Top 100. If you're serious about taking the next step in your production career, I couldn't recommend studying with Jossie more highly.”Oondza
“By the time of writing this, I have had Jossie as a track production mentor for eight sessions. I have more than ten years of experience with a serious DAW and technical approach to music, knowing the details and performing my own tracks at serious venues and events. Jose has surprised me as a genuine teacher and as a kind person full of perspective. He is not there to please me, but to show me the blind spots that make or break a good mix or arrangement. He has adapted to my personal style, rather than being someone out to shallowly scale up and make an easy buck. His bag of tricks is deeper than engineering alone, it is musical as well, more like a co-producer or collaborator. The bang for buck ratio has been a sweet spot for me, as someone with experience paying people for mentoring and track feedback. The sessions have lifted me to a new plateau that feels motivating to continue, and left me confident implementing fundamental basics and refined nuances in my production generally, in existing tracks and ones yet to be made. Our result so far is a state of mutual ease, and of confidently gigging and finishing tracks that have peculiarity and potential but lacked some of the seasoned pro touches Jose has helped me grasp.”Jussi / Agenth
“Jossie has a unique way to transmit complex and detailed techniques along with essential musical understanding that allows even the beginner to feel capable, motivated and inspired to apply all the depth covered in each lesson into their own projects. Jossie's teaching style is infused with sincerity to the process of music production while creating a relaxed ambience that makes every class dynamic and so enjoyable. From Jossie's extensive music study, expertise in music production and genuine skills in teaching, he has been able to demyth so many obstacles I had in beginning music production. Thank you so much Jossie for your dedication to the art of music production and for sharing it with your students, embracing whatever level their entry point is.”Keeva Cianna
